Our Mission
Lockleaze Sports Centre, bristol provides the space and venue for teams, groups or individuals that are looking to get involved with sport and the community that comes along with it.
We welcome a diverse 3,000 weekly users to join in a variety of social and sporting activities every week, including 1,600 under 18 year olds. We aim to continue the expansion of participation in sport by providing accessible means of playing the games we all love!
Football Pitches
Our recently renovated expansive 4G football pitch, designed to professional standards, accommodates a full-sized football match or can be divided into four smaller areas for 7-a-side games. The exclusive viewing terrace offers an exhilarating bird’s-eye perspective, providing fans with an electrifying vantage point to deliver unparalleled support to the teams.
Rugby Pitches
Our recently refurbished full-sized 4G Rugby pitch, also newly upgraded, is spacious enough for a complete two-hour rugby match or can be divided into four smaller sections for 7-a-side football games. The thrilling viewing terrace provides an exciting bird’s-eye viewpoint, allowing fans to deliver unmatched support to the teams with electrifying enthusiasm.
Hockey Pitches
Our brand new, state-of-the-art blue hockey pitch is now open. FIH certified, with dedicated player and spectator areas giving that real ‘stadium’ atmosphere. Training and match spaces currently available. Contact us to make a booking.
MUGA Pitch
Our 4G MUGA pitch is perfect for any sport where a range of activities can be played in one place! Frisbee? Bowls? Maybe even table-tennis (if you have a spare table!)

What footwear is allowed on the pitches?
Football, Rugby and MUGA 3G pitch required studded boots (screw in or moulded but no blades and strictly no flat sole shoes.
Hockey Astro – dimpled hockey shoes / Astroturf Trainers – no studs or blades.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING AND FUTURE BOOKINGS IF THIS IS NOT FOLLOWED.
Is equipment proved with pitch bookings?
No – pitch bookings will only come with a set of goals (7-side / 9-side or 11-side) depending on what size you booked. You will need to bring balls, cones, bibs as required.
How do I book a pitch?
You can book your pitch throgh our online boking system, found here: https://portal.sportskey.com/venues/lockleaze-sports-centre
To secure your booking we require a £10 non-refundable deposit, or a 50% deposit on matches.
What is the cancelation policy?
If you cancel within 5-days of your scheduled booking you will be required to pay the remaining balance, if it is more than 5 days then there is no charge, you will lose the £10 deposit.
Are there showers and changing facilities?
Yes, there are showers and changing facilities open to use.
Does the time slot booked include warm up time?
Yes, time slots are very strict, the centre is extremely busy and we require all users to be respectful of the time sot they are booked on for and enter and leave their pitches on time. There is a warm up space available, in a separate area from the main pitches, which can be used if you wish to before your booking begins.
